In Loving Memory....

My mom called to inform me that my dad took Betsy to the vet today and put her to sleep. She had been in bad shape for a while but had gotten much worse lately. She had a mass on her leg the vet said was probably cancer. She could barely walk and wasn't eating so they decided it was time to put her down. It was really hard for everyone, even my dad. My mom said he was really upset about it. He took her with him everywhere and we had her for about 14 years. So it's a sad day in the Merkle family...
