Waiting for excitement

I have wanted to post for the past few days but I kept waiting for something exciting to happen for me to share. Finally, I decided if I waited for something exciting to happen I may never post anything. I had a sad realization a few weeks back, shortly after my internship started, that this is it... I'm in the real world now. A world filled with 40 hour weeks and limited vacation days. No more summer vacations, the occasional cancelled class, or naps in the afternoon. Is this what I was so excited to finish college for? If so, I'm sure I could go back and get another degree of some sort... any ideas? Maybe I could go back and get a degree in recreation or something exciting like that. Not that I don't like dietetics. I really do like my internship and I'll love my future job because I'll get to do the same thing but with a paycheck. I'm just saddened by the fact that I'm old and am forced to have a regimented schedule and a boss who has control over my life. I never thought I would, but I miss college. In college if I didn't want to go to class I didn't have to...now if I don't want to go to work I have to consider if it's worth using a vacation day :(

Lately, this as well as many other things have made me feel old beyond my 22 years. I went to see Wedding Crashers on Friday and although it was pretty funny, I left thinking how disgustingly vulgar the movie was. I was never bothered before, but hearing the characters say the "f word" every other second or some other unnecessary vulgar term as well as lots and lots of naked women made me cringe. When did I get so old and boring? I want my niave and stupid youth back! (Ok, maybe not)
