Jaguars and Celebrities

At the beginning of the summer, right after Derek and I moved to Peoria, I have to admit I was really frustrated with all of your blogs. You never wrote anything and I was always keeping mine up to date. Now I understand why you never did. I had so much going on...now I have absolutely nothing to write about, but of course I can b.s. for a while...

Peoria and my internship are still going great. I finally get to assess and educate patients which adds a lot of variety. Some patients are so sweet I'd love to stay and talk to them all day, others make me want to turn and run! I also get to look important with my lab coat and pager...unfortunately, it's all an act :)

Besides that, we're still just getting used to Peoria. It's really not that different than back home, except one thing Derek and I noticed right away-there must be some really rich people around here. All we ever see are BMW's, Jaguars, etc. We live nearby both a Jaguar and a Hummer dealership. They are nice, but I know I make the doctors at work jealous with my '96 Grand Am! Maybe all the nice cars are from all of the celebrities Derek works with-in his department are Mary Kay, Pamela Anderson, and Jenni Craig :) And you thought our life was boring?!?
