Our hairy little baby

Well, we got our puppy yesterday and he is just so much fun! And so far he hasn't had any accidents in the house (knock on wood) So Derek and I have been having a lot playing with him. And by the way, Derek named him Teddy after Teddy Ginn, Jr. (Maria, do you know who that is...or Laura?) I'll give you a hint-Derek wanted to name him Brutus, but I objected. Besides playing with Teddy, we've been doing a lot of church stuff, which has been fun. Derek preached at the Saturday night service last night, which went really well. He was nervous since it was his first time preaching there, he felt a lot of pressure. But everyone said he did well, hopefully they weren't lying. Then today we went to a party for the church's softball team. It was at a house on a lake and they had lots of outside games to play and jetskis and tubes. So it was a lot of fun, but I still feel funny because I don't know too many people and even the ones I do know, I can barely remember the names of. So it's going to be a long time before I know everyone...actually I probably will never know everyone, but I'll try. Well, back to work tomorrow. I'm going to be on ICU which is all tube feedings and IV feedings, so that will be interesting. It's also the last week that the Sr. interns are there, so as of Friday (they graduate) and I'll become a Sr. intern and get a better desk! Not to mention that all of the Sr. interns hate us Jr. interns so there's a lot of tension in the office, so it will be better once they leave, hopefully. Unless we don't get along with the incoming class either, but if we don't, who cares, we'll be the Sr's then! (I have what my class calls a BA-bad attitude!)
