Stress

I just realized that I always look at my friends blogs and think, come on everyone, update your blogs! Then I realized that I haven't updated in a while despite a lot going on in my life. So I'll leave out all the whining and details, but here is what I've been up to. If there is anyone out there who has not heard (I doubt it) Derek and I will be moving back to Ohio. Derek has taken a new job in our hometown. So, that leaves me unemployed in approximately 6 weeks. So I have been searching with a vengence for a job, but so far have not found much. I do have one job interview at the end of the month, but I'm not sure they can offer me full time, so we'll see what happens with that. Besides looking for a job, we are also beginning to pack a little and get rid of a lot of stuff. I absolutely hate moving, especially since this will be the 3rd time since graduating from college. But I have found one good thing about moving, it gives me the perfect opportunity to "downsize." I have been going through things and making a lot of trips to the Goodwill. It's amazing how much junk one can accumulate! So besides that, there's also a lot of other details that I won't bore you with, for example changing banks, updating loaner information, getting the internet set up at our new home (it's kind of vital for Derek since he's still doing online classes) So the logistics of moving are wearing on me, but it will be nice once it's all worked out, pending I have a job! I do have the occasional depression moment though when I think about leaving all of my friends here, it will not be easy to leave.
On another note, John and Mary came to visit us last weekend since they'll be going to Australia for 6 months. It was a lot of fun to have friends around. We rarely get a lot of visitors. Hopefully that will change once we're closer to friends and family. You're all welcome to visit once we get setttled!
