Trespassers

Sunday night Derek and I were sitting in the living room watching TV. It was late and it was very dark outside. So, all of the sudden someone starts POUNDING on our front door. Derek goes to the door and no one is there...So I'm a little freaked out and so is Derek. Then, about 5 minutes later, someone POUNDS on our back window. So this time I'm really freaked out because it means someone is in our backyard, inside our fence. So, I was freaked and Derek was ticked! So he decided just to call the police, ask them to drive by, see if anyone was screwing around in our yard or neighborhood. (Keep in mind, many people have told us to be careful, because we don't live in the best neighborhood)

So about 15 minutes later, the police officer calls and said, "We've found your suspect, his name is XXX, he says he knows you and he was just screwing around." LOL It was a kid from our youth group. I wasn't suprised, I had told Derek it might be one of the Jr. high boys screwing around or something. The funny thing was, it wasn't a Jr. high boy at all, it was the oldest kid in the group, he's actually out of high school and in college. How funny is that? He didn't get in trouble, but the cop did stop and talk to him and ask him to knock it off. So Derek's trying to decide does that mean he's comfortable with Derek or he doesn't like him?? Oh by the way, he called later and appologized...Derek just laughed.
