The scariest moment of my life
I just thought I would share with you how blessed Derek, me, and my mother are (And Teddy too). If you remember, my mother spent last week with me and then Thursday we headed to Ohio to spend the weekend at the lake. When we were on highway 69, just south of Ft. Wayne, we got into an accident. What happened was, we were in the left lane, a girl was in a car in the right lane and a semi was trying to merge onto the highway. The girl beside us started to get over to let the semi in, and apparently we were in her blind spot because she forced us off the road and into the median. Derek was driving (Thank God) and when we hit the gravel of the median, our car started to spin, in the middle of the highway. We did at least one 360, maybe more, none of us really remember because it happened so fast (and I was too busy screaming like a little girl to notice) Anyways, we spun in the middle of the highway and came to rest facing backwards with our tail end of the car hanging over the ditch on the right hand side of the road. Priase God no cars, trucks, or semis were close enough to hit us while we were spinning. There were cars all around us, and none of us know how we excaped being hit, but we are all so thankful. (We were going about 70-75 mph) The car that forced us off the road pulled over and once we got our composure and got out of the ditch, the lady in the passenger side got out and was bawling and hugged Derek. Apparently, the driver of the car was her teenage daughter who had just gotten her permit that day, or that week, or something like that. So, I hope that young driver learned a valuable lesson. A lot more has happened lately, but that's enough for now. Thank God, we're all ok.

It is a miracle that no one was injured, things like this make you realize how easily injury/death can happen.
