Well, I've been meaning to post for days, but everytime I think about it, I cannot think of anything to write about... but I thought I would post so you all know I am alive and well :) I have basically been working, working, and well, working. Last week Derek's family did come and visit, so that added some excitement. We spent the weekend at various waterparks in the area, so I actually have a tiny, slight, pretty much non-existent tan, but better than pasty white, I guess. We also went to see a local theatre production of Grease which was really good and had many violent games of Spoons, complete with blood shed. (Derek is one of the least competitive in his family, if you can believe that) This past weekend I went to my parents lake cottage (by myself, Derek had to preach on Saturday) and then my mom and I went to one of my friends from my internships wedding in Michigan...so it was a hectic, fly by weekend, jam packed with lots of driving, a wedding, and sleeping, that was about it. But it was a beautiful wedding and I have missed Katrina so much so it was worth it. It also made me reminiscent about my wedding, I can't believe it's been over 2 years ago already! Time sure does fly by! So now it's Monday and I'm back at work and it doesn't even feel like I had a break this weekend. So it's going to be a looooong week! Hmmm, nothing else to say, sorry! Oh except, I saw my mom this weekend and she now wears the same size as me! Congrats mom!
