Blizzard of 2007
I learned something new today. I always thought of "Blizzard" as 5 feet of snow, covering houses and cars, etc. Today I found out that a winter storm is categorized by the speed of the wind, therefore, we are in the middle of the Blizzard of 2007. We got about 8-9 inches of snow and the winds are terrible. Once again, I was unable to make it to work, which was kind of nice since I have some extra PTO days to use before I leave at the end of next week anyways. So I slept in late, played games on my iPod and played in the snow with Teddy. I'm about to go to bed and will have to decide in the morning if I will go to work or get snow day #2. It's hard to tell. I think the snow may be about done, but the winds are terrible. I don't know what it's like outside of Illinois. I'm worried about my parents, they are supposed to fly to Arizona tomorrow. Pray they don't have any problems, if the flight isn't cancelled.
In other news, I have 8 days of work left at this job (if I go tomorrow) I've attached some pictures of my snow day.

Looks like fun! We only got about 4 inches here, so I only missed a half day of school. (and if it wouldn't have switched directly from rain to freezing rain to snow we wouldn't have been even that lucky).
