Now we know why my name's not Martha...

When we moved into our house there was a flower bed with nothing but weeds. So last week I pulled out everything, and I mean everthing! So then we had a flower bed full of dirt. So today I tried my hand at gardening. I had no idea how deep to plant them, how far apart, and I couldn't even tell you now what kind of flowers they were. The only thing I know about gardening is that this is probably not a good time of year to plant flowers! So now it will take nothing short of divine intervention to make something or anything grow next year.

Besides being domestic, I haven't done much lately. Derek is at youth right now and I am just sitting in anticipation for Lost tonight! I also am waiting on Brandt's cake recipe to bake. Tomorrow is Katrina's birthday so it was the perfect opportunity to make my favorite cake. Maybe I'm not such a domestic failure after all!

I also am now more than 1/2 way through my staff relief and besides that one incident, I think I'm doing alright. Wow, my life is boring, I can't think of anything else to say...except I can't wait to see Abby, Laura, and Maria this weekend!
