Moving...

Well, it seems like everyone else is moving and now it turns out Derek and I will be too! I just found out about 15 minutes ago! None of you probably remember but a few months back I mentioned that Derek had applied for a job as the "Director of Family Ministries" at a church in Pekin, Illinois. Well, they took so long to get back with him we both assumed they hired someone else. That is until a few weeks ago they let him know he was in their top 5 and they wanted an interview. So tonight at 7 he went to his interview and as soon as he left he called me to tell me it went well. Then about 30 seconds later he hung up on me to answer his other call, which was from them asking him to turn around and go back-then they offered him the job! So we'll be moving to Pekin (about 15 minutes outside of Peoria) and we'll be staying in the parsonage-which is very nice by the way! I have no idea when we'll be moving, but I'm sure it will be ASAP...or just as soon as we get our stuff packed up again to move. I'm definately not looking forward to moving all of our stuff, but who can turn down a free place to live?!?! Derek is so excited by the way because he hated his other job...now he just has to let them know he's quitting... And I will also be quitting Kohl's because it's on the opposite side of Peoria that Pekin is so it's just too far of a drive now. Wow, I'm going to be moving...I wasn't prepared for this! By the way this means we will be staying in this area for longer than just June as we originally planned. But it seems things don't always go according to planned!
